I had two wisdom teeth removed at Pittsburgh Oral Surgery, and the experience couldn’t have gone better. I had general anesthesia and didn’t feel or remember a thing from the procedure. The entire staff was incredibly kind, caring, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. If you need wisdom teeth removed or any type of oral surgery, I highly recommend Pittsburgh Oral Surgery!

I had the best dental experience with Dr. Davies and her assistant, Naria. I had two wisdom teeth extracted during the same visit, and the entire procedure was completely pain-free. I chose to have local anesthesia and nitrous oxide, but honestly, Dr. Davies did such an excellent job with the local anesthetic that I probably could have done it with local alone. Dr. Davies communicated well throughout the procedure, which helped ease my anxiety and kept me comfortable the entire time. I was in and out of the office within 30 minutes. The overall experience was outstanding. I had to take the time to leave a review because exceptional care deserves recognition. I highly recommend Dr. Davies and her team. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Was recommended to this office due to needing an implant as part of recommended treatment for a missing tooth by my dentist. I had a consultation that was supposed to be with Sarah Davies, but never actually met with her for my consult. During the first-time patient setup, I got multiple emails of them not having X-Rays, to which I informed my dentist and they sent them multiple copies. On my consult on April 16th of this year, I met with a guy who made me get another X-ray, which I was later billed for and not really informed as to why I really needed this, but I went along with it as I was unsure of processes. They then gave me an out-of-pocket quote and told me I would hear within the next 2 weeks from my insurance if the surgery would get any coverage, but they wrote numbers on my printed copy of my statement for insurance codes. 2 weeks go by and I get no response from insurance. I call my insurance and am told I need a predetermination notice sent by the office. I call the office and they tell me that I need to schedule surgery in order to have them send that to insurance. I call the ShadySide office that I had the appointment at and am told I cannot get this information un

Dr. Davies and her team were great with my wisdom tooth removal and I highly recommend them for this. However, the reason for the low rating is because the young woman at the front desk (the one who checks you in) is extremely rude every time I come in. The dentist is a scary place for some people, and she really is making it worse with her gross attitude. She acts as if it’s a chore to have to check me in for my appointment, even tho it’s her job… as well as being very passive aggressive. I would recommend this office for wisdom teeth removal surgery, I have had very little swelling even on day 1, but just beware of the front desk and try not to take it personally.

As someone who doesn't consider a dentist's office my favorite place to be (and who would be a new patient), whoever I just spoke to over the phone at reception was rude, impatient, and acted like it killed her to even speak to me. Snappy with her responses, and I didn't even get anything sent to me regarding confirmation of appt. She had the worst attitude over the fact that I filled out a form online for contact...why is it on there then? Learn to be empathetic and kind to people, or don't work in this environment.
